Went to MissionsFest tonight. Good seeing some old friends. Rita came along. Fun times. Very unexpectedly bumped into Carolyn, friend from all the way back in gr. 4 and classmate until gr. 10 before I moved and changed schools. She’s going to Austria in september! To attend Capernwray Missionary Fellowship’s Tauernhof Bible School. Prepares you for service! Encouraging to hear. Please join me in praying for her, even though she’s not leaving for months more.
Although I did and do not feel called to missions, a very poignant and memorable principle was brought up by Dr. Martin Alphonse, the speaker for the youth rally: “A life not worth dying for is a life not worth living.” Tsink about it.
Doesn’t mean that if you feel like your life is crap you should… stop living. But you should stop living it the way you have been. Life IS worth living. One just has to see what it really is, and what it really is will never be seen without Christ Jesus our Saviour.

I’ve never made a fortune,
And it’s probably too late now.
But I don’t worry about that much,

In a further attempt to spur myself on to greater dedication in memorizing bible verses. The problem I have is that I am a visual learner. What I’ve memorized is easier recalled when I go in order, thinking about the spot on the page each passage is and then continuing on to the next passage in order. I need to have each set of verses memorized as individual verses (for the sake of memory, knowing full well there is unity in God’s word). I ask you readers to keep me accountable and remind me. Ask me in person or on msn to recite the verse, name the reference, or do both given a topic for the verse. DO mix it up a bit. And don’t flood me with challenges to do all the verses… I want to do this, but not spend an hour with each person for it. The following is a list of those which I have memorized in the past… I don’t know… months?… and are the focus of that which I currently wish to commit to memory.
I’ve only finished my first attempts to commit to memory the verses from Roman over the past week or two. So I admit that I am rusty with many of the verses and will be reviewing them. Don’t expect me to have everything perfect x__x
